Description and technical data
The LOK SMCT thermocouple connector has no shoulder or sizing angle inside
assembly; features allow the thermocoupler to pass through the threaded end of the fitting.
Example: SMCT 8-8N-S6 to order thermocouple connector
Outside diameter 1/2"× 1/2" NPT S316
Assembly instructions
1. Place the length of the thermocouple threaded through the fitting thread
end and hold it to prevent it from moving during assembly.
2. Rotate the nut 1-1/4 after tightening it with a wrench while holding the body with a spare wrench for sizes 1/4" (6 mm) or larger.
